Codex-certified Hotel Hyatt Regency Mainz

After extensive testing, Hyatt Regency Mainz has been named a Codex-certified location, establishing the hotel an excellent venue for Codex-certified meetings and making it particularly attractive to customers in the pharmaceutical industry.  The audit was conducted by DFV Media Group under the guidance of Compliance Manager Michael Grusa.

The test report highlighted the following aspects:

• With its integration into the historic Fort Malakoff fortress, Hyatt Regency Mainz hotel meets the criteria of the FSA eV and the AKG eV codes (as of 2016) as a business and conference hotel with ten meeting rooms.

• With 265 double rooms, the hotel can accommodate at least as many meeting participants, making it ideal for mid-sized training sessions, which can be carried out over several days.  These rooms, which measure from 30 sq m (323 sq ft) to 45 sq m (484 sq ft), meet the code’s requirements for size and equipment.

• The hotel’s central location ensures easy accessibility by train and highway, and the Congress Centre Mainz is within walking distance.  Located 35 km (21.7 mi) from Frankfurt, the hotel is also a good stay location for visitors to the Frankfurt Fair.

• Ten meeting rooms of various sizes (the largest can accommodate up to 500 people) offer daylight, air conditioning and modern technology.  The hotel offers training session meeting packages, as well as menus that meet the code’s requirements.

• A 700 sq m (7,535 sq ft) spa and fitness area complements the hotel’s business offerings and meets the needs for the recreational aspects of training.  The entire area is adequate under the code’s guidelines and is free for hotel guests.
